A celebrant gets to know you, writes a ceremony that reflects your story, and leads it on the day. Our ceremonies aren’t tied to a religion or a fixed script. Whether it’s a wedding, naming ceremony, vow renewal or another important milestone, every ceremony is written especially for the people at its heart. We’ll meet in person or online, talk about your story, and I’ll get to know what matters most to you. I’ll then write a ceremony that reflects who you are and what’s important to you. In the case of weddings, a celebrant doesn’t perform the legal marriage. In France and Monaco, a legally recognised marriage must take place before a registrar (officier de l’état civil) at the mairie. Many couples choose to complete the legal formalities separately, giving them the freedom to celebrate with family and friends wherever they wish – in a garden, on a beach, at a private villa, or anywhere that’s meaningful to them. Because there are no set rules, your ceremony can be as traditional or as contemporary as you like. It can include religious elements, blend different cultures or faiths, or have no religious content at all. It can be large or small, formal or relaxed – whatever feels right for you. We’ll work together throughout the process. You’ll complete a questionnaire, we’ll talk through your ideas, and you’ll have the opportunity to review the ceremony before the day itself. We’ll refine it together until you’re completely happy with it. My role is to tell your story in a way that feels natural and personal. I want your guests to laugh, perhaps shed a tear, and leave feeling they’ve learnt something new about you and the people you love.

I'm a certified celebrant, having completed the Master Certification course at the Academy of Modern Celebrancy. When I decide to do something, I like to fully immerse myself and get it right, and this course delivered, it was far more detailed and demanding than I expected, but well worth it for proper accreditation. My background in IT and accounting isn't the most obvious lead in to celebrancy, though it has definitely helped when setting up a new business. I have always loved writing, and friends have been telling me for years that I should write a book. This feels like the perfect way to combine my love of writing with a consultant's eye for detail, creating meaningful scripts that tell your story in a way that feels right for you. Having lived in French speaking countries for most of my life, I saw a gap in the market for bilingual celebrancy. I'm certainly not the only one offering it, but for international clients here in the south of France, being a native English speaker with fluent, accent free French is a real advantage. I know Monaco, the surrounding Riviera, and its people well, and I feel at ease with all cultures and traditions. I am open minded, respectful, and LGBTQ friendly. Most importantly, I love helping people, hearing their stories, and making sure their special day is flawless.

Between baby showers, gender reveals and babymoons, it's all before the star of the show even arrives. And once baby is here, there's little time left for a proper welcome. As families become more blended and less bound by tradition, a christening isn't always the right choice. A naming ceremony offers an alternative. It's entirely personal, free of religious ties, and suited to any family story, whether that's a new baby, an adoption, a blended family, or simply a family choosing to mark the occasion together whenever the moment feels right. It is an opportunity to speak publicly of your child's name and its significance, to share your hopes for their future, and, should you wish, to name guide parents or mentors to accompany them through life. Grandparents and other important people in the family can be properly recognised too. The ceremony can be held wherever you choose, at any age, shaped entirely around the readings, music and gestures that matter most to you.

Fluent in both English and French, I can also help bridge language and cultural expectations for international clients, which is often especially useful for venues hosting guests from abroad.
